Applications for both PSA and Psi Chi for Fall 2026 are NOW OPEN! Applications will be open September 14 – October 30 2026
Below are the requirements for PSA and Psi Chi. There will be ONE form that you fill out initially, instead of a separate PSA and Psi Chi form. Please fill out this form to find your eligibility: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/Ar4NyTKKht
Once you’ve been accepted into PSA and/or Psi Chi, we will ask for a $10 chapter fee. We accept dues via cash or Venmo! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY CHAPTER DUES FOR BOTH PSA AND PSI CHI.
Psychology Student Alliance (PSA) Applications:
Requirements:
No major, class, or GPA requirements
We ask that you regularly attend PSA meetings and events
Fee:
$10 CSU Lifetime fee covers your entire time at CSU
We will send you a confirmation email once you have been accepted!
Note: If you are already a member of Psi Chi (or are accepted as a member of Psi Chi), you will automatically receive the benefits of PSA without having to apply for PSA and without having to pay the extra $10 fee!
Psi Chi Applications:
Requirements:
Be enrolled as a major or minor in a psychology program or a program psychological in nature
Have completed at least 3 semesters or equivalent of full-time college coursework
Have completed at least 9 semester credit hours or equivalent of psychology courses
Have earned a cumulative GPA that is in the top 35% of the College of Natural Sciences, which is 3.4 or higher for the 25-26 school year
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA average for psychology courses
Fee:
$75 Total
Cost Breakdown: $65 to the national office and $10 in local chapter dues
THIS IS A TWO-PART APPLICATION PROCESS. Please read the full instructions first before applying. You must fill out the first Google Form linked here for preliminary screening. If the form asks for you to verify with your unofficial transcript, please email us your unofficial transcript psichi.csu@gmail.com
After that is approved by the officer team in 1-2 weeks, we will send you instructions on how to apply through the national organization. If you do not fill out the form and send us your transcript, you will not officially be a member of the CSU Psi Chi Chapter.
Part 1:
We need to first check your transcripts to ensure you are eligible to apply to Psi Chi. For this, we will need you to submit your unofficial transcripts via email (psichi.csu@gmail.com) to get approved.
Rather than printing, you are going to Save as a PDF
Once you have saved your Unofficial Transcript as a PDF, you are going to email us your transcript (psichi.csu@gmail.com). Once our officer team has confirmed eligibility, we will send you instructions on how to apply through the national organization.
